wolfgang frey

I'm a curious person. I'm keen on news, want to know what's behind the surface, and I'm glad my job connects me to new, interesting and fascinating facts and people everyday. I try to be as authentic as possible. That's how I work as a journalist, and that's what I recommend anyone who wants to know: Just be who you are, be proud of your competence, services and products and communicate exactly this. Stay honest with yourself, your friends, your business partners and your customers. Life's too short to do otherwise.

The stock market moves billions of euros, dollars and first of all: people. That's why I specialized in this field as a journalist. I also report about politics, crime, social issues and cultural events. Newsworthy is what makes people move, what makes them think and feel. That's what life's made of.

As freelance reporter & editor in the past few years I wrote and investigated for leading media in Frankfurt (Germany) and St. Gallen (Switzerland) as e.g. Associated Press, Der Spiegel, Neue Zürcher Zeitung am Sonntag or the web-based stock market news service - specialised in the stock market, economics and white-collar crime. As the debate over tax-evasion accelerated in 2008 I took the chance to break some taboos around the topic of bank secret – during two years as an editor of the business weekly Wirtschaft regional in the tax heaven Liechtenstein.

I'm sorry this one's the only English page at the moment. Nevertheless feel free to contact me to find out more about me and my work. All necessary information to reach me you'll find here. Thank you for visiting this website.
